This persecution- makes the path to God easier and clearer Your goodness that brought out their worst, Having suffered for your love and righteousness, Let not this affliction mellow down the spirits.   Modern-day relationships are a pretentious race, As they are busy racing, Wearing a cosmetic face. Cheating on each other is their saving grace, doing it artfully,  without leaving a trace. When one is honest, then the other uses, When one uses, the other breaks. When both use, the poison penetrates. When both are honest, can never be the case, after all this is a relationship and not a flower vase! These days relationships are based on who aces, the one who aces being a masquerade. The one who abuses takes the lead, sabotaging the innocence of the other,  without paying heed. Past poisonous experiences of one, damage the softness of the other one. Two-timing Is in fashion these days, Mind in one place, Heart in another, this is the current trend. Trying to be a winner, declaring other the loser.   Many contemplate it never existed, is imaginary, or maybe it existed once, and now is under the sea. Limited minds can't see the glory it holds, closed hearts can never  feel its prominence, closed eyes can never see it. Limitless minds can perceive, blossoming hearts can dive deep into it. This beautiful city of love and gold, protected with divine invisible forces, life-giving blue waters bordering it, to keep it safe from the outside world. Protecting Atlantis from all the killings, bombings, treachery, deceit, and hatred. Only love and abundance are permitted here! Only smiling faces with beautiful hearts reside here, jewel-toned fragrant flower bushes can be seen as  every house boundary. The sweet scent of the flowers lures the senses, to discover it more. Allowing only, the eternal silence of the sea to breathe in, only love to breathe out, houses are made of crystals and gems, streets are laden with gold and silver, shining bright during mornings and noon.   I stand victorious, Defeating the Devil! Victory is all mine, Surrounded by all dancing angels. I speak the victory, Stampeding the vice. I ring the bells of victory, Living life only with the positive. I dance to the happy tunes of victory, By staying away from the deceitful. I sing the smiling melody of victory, By staying away from all the wrong doors. But is it I who is doing it all? Of course not, It is my Lord, who did it all, Is doing, And will keep doing, He is my refuge, My protector.   Oh God, consider my petition today. God, submerge me in your love.  Take me to places where your endless love prevails.  Take me where your divine beauty engulfs me.  Let only your will and plan prevail.  Protect me from all the deceit and folly.  Stop me fighting all the closed doors. Open all the closed doors only if they give happiness.  You see the things that I do not see.  You are working even when I think you are not working.  You bless me in ways greater than I ever imagined.  Give me unconditional faith, Oh God! Give me the grace to embrace all the closed doors with a big smile.  Fill the wait with a good attitude. Make my brokenness into a breakthrough.   There they were, The fragrant and smiling roses on the rose-briar. Tempted to pluck them all. Forgetting the thorns With every pluck, Accompanied the pain of the thorns, The pain of a lifetime. Piercing a wound unhealed. As time passed by, The horrid pain soon turned into pain sweet. Each rose turned into a memory divine. Lessons learned, Wisdom collected. Basking in the sunshine of experiences earned. Gathering each rose, To weave into a garland divine.   Your Grace abounds, Let not my faith fail. Help me fix my eyes, On the countless mercies that abound. Sailing in the unknown, Infuse hope and faith infinitely. Send only the Good, Keep all the harm away. Rebuke all the anxiety and sin, Let your Sovereign hand pull me out of all fear  While waiting for the downpour of countless mercies, Hug me tight and keep me warm in your loving embrace.   The most powerful man in history, He had no servant, yet we called him Master. He had no degree, yet we called him Teacher. He had no medicines, yet we called him Healer. He had no army, yet authorities feared him. He fought no battles, yet he conquered the world. He was scorned by many, yet he kept forgiving all. He committed no crime, yet he was crucified. He was buried in a tomb, yet he lives today and forever. With the most  beautiful, glorious, powerful name, He is my Jesus. The Master of Parables, I love him forever. When I first picked up my pen, To scribble down my thoughts, I knew nothing but God. Years passed by, The word God took different forms- From Emotions, Life, Love, Confusions. All encapsulated into one - Him. Today when I pick up to Ornate the paper with thoughts, Paraphernalia of maze covers me. From humans to animals, From hatred to love. All thoughts merge into the Almighty. Elated to witness from where I started and where I stand, The Source remains the same. The destination also into him.
