Persecution

Image
With selfless love, Comes the persecution. With every blessing, Comes the opposition. Blessed are the ones, Persecuted for love, Persecuted for righteousness. Beaten and bruised, The aching heart, becomes the key, for the doorway to the heavens. This persecution- makes the path to God easier and clearer Your goodness that brought out their worst, Having suffered for your love and righteousness, Let not this affliction mellow down the spirits. With heads held high, Welcome the brand new day, With greater blessings. Be ready to handle all the blessings, Let HIM fight all your battles, Leave all the persecution to be lifted by HIM. © Meghna, 2021, All rights reserved.

My friend - Tea!

Image
“Some people will tell you there is a great deal of poetry and fine sentiment in a chest of tea.”–Ralph Waldo Emerson Tea my forever mate, Black, green, oolong, white or Pu -erh, Never fails to please me. Dreary days, Teary days, Days of cheerfulness, Days of success, The thought of a  cup of tea, Fills me with contented peace. Situations are never so bleak, For a cup of tea not to remind me a reason to gleam. Tea, The constant reminder of the Lord’s mercies on me. Sitting elegantly in the old encrusted stout teapot, Reminding of the endless conversations Of the past  Present  And many more to come. This calm-after-the-storm drink, has the perfect aroma  lingering the senses. These tea leaves, Make a fragrant bouquet for my life! © Meghna, 2021, All rights reserved.

Winter's Embrace

Image
In the deepest of winters, In the quest of searching for the invincible summer within me, Tucked up in the warm snuggly bed, This winter speaks to me! The smoky nutty aroma from the tall overflowing  coffee mug, Validates the winters-onset. The delectable cinnamon rolls, fresh from the oven, with warm melted butter oozing out, adds sweetness to the  deep bitterness of  the steamy dark brown coffee mug. Days are short now, Nights are long. A line of golden warm lively candles  stands tall and shining, lighting my room with the beauty unseen, adding radiance to the chamomile and chrysanthemum flowers  at the bedside. Driving away the cold darkness, The sweet scent of the pillar candles and fragrant flowers, Re-assures the sweet promises life holds. The dark days,  and the chilly nights, give the necessary break, to take stock of life. With the warmth, scent, food, and flowers, This loving winter's embrace, is a perfect therapeutic remedy, for setting the life right! © Meghna, 2021,

Liberation :)

Image
The sun and the moon, Told, to let them go, Not to hold on tightly, But let it loose. People come in and go from our lives, To fulfill a specific role. Like a tangy dressing  on the salad. Like a fertilizer,  for a glorious harvest. Few come to teach you passion, So you may realize, how it was like to be loved less and not full. Few come to teach you hatred, So you may value how others loved you with heart-full. Few come to test your patience, So you may dance to tunes of, past fun-times, And make the future bright and clear. Few bring along times magical, Just to make you realize how it is to live-full. Few come just to disrespect and bring tears, So you may know about their insecurities, And make your own shield strong. All come to teach, Good or bad, Just let them go, As each role gets fulfilled. Don’t cling onto people, But to the lessons learned. © Meghna, 2021, All rights reserved.
